Maalox Suspension 15ml №30

Active ingredient

In one bag (15 ml) contains:

Active substances: 
Magnesium hydroxide (as a gel) 600.00 mg;
Aluminum hydroxide (as gel) 525.00 mg.

Excipients: concentrated hydrochloric acid,
citric acid monohydrate, peppermint leaves oil, mannitol,
methyl parahydroxybenzoate, propyl parahydroxybenzoate, sodium saccharinate,
sorbitol (70%), hydrogen peroxide (30%), purified water.

Pharmacology

Maalox® is a well-balanced combination of magnesium hydroxide and aluminum hydroxide, which ensures its high neutralizing ability and protective effect.

Maalox® does not cause constipation. It is used as an adsorbing, enveloping and antacid with high acidity of gastric juice.Maalox® Soothes pain in the upper digestive tract for several hours.

Indications and usage

- acute and chronic gastritis;

- acute gastroduodenitis;

- chronic gastroduodenitis with normal or increased secretion in the acute phase;

- hernia of the esophageal opening of the diaphragm;

- reflux esophagitis;

- gastric ulcer and duodenal ulcer;

- heartburn after errors in the diet, medication and abuse of alcohol, coffee, nicotine.

Contraindications

- chronic renal failure;

- Alzheimer's disease;

- hypophosphatemia;

- pregnancy;

- hypersensitivity to the components of the drug,

Side effects

For children the dosage is determined by the attending physician.

If necessary, you can take an additional dose of the drug 2 hours after the previous dose, but not more than 6 doses per day.

Interaction with other drugs
