Mechanism of action

Troxerutin has a veno-tonic, angioprotective, anti-inflammatory, anti-edema, antioxidant effect.

Indications and usage

Chronic venous insufficiency with such manifestations as static heaviness in the legs, leg ulcers, trophic skin lesions; varicose veins, superficial thrombophlebitis, periphlebitis, phlebothrombosis, varicose dermatitis, post-thrombotic syndrome, hemorrhoids, post-traumatic edema and hematoma, bleeding diathesis with increased permeability of the capillaries, kapillyarotoksikoz (including measles, scarlet fever, influenza), diabetic microangiopathy retinopathy, adverse vascular effects of radiation therapy; as a prophylactic after operations on the veins.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity, peptic ulcer of the stomach and duodenum, chronic gastritis (in the acute phase).

Pregnancy and Breastfeeding

Contraindicated in the first trimester of pregnancy and breastfeeding, in the second and third trimesters of pregnancy can only be used as prescribed by a doctor.

Adverse reactions

Allergic reactions (skin rash), erosive and ulcerative lesions of the gastrointestinal tract, headache.

Dosage and administration

Troxerutin treatment is taken orally, during meals, and 1 caps. 2-3 times a day. For maintenance treatment - 1 caps. per day for 3-4 weeks.
