Biologically active food supplement is not a drug.

- it is a product with a combined composition containing substances with a protective effect on the structures of the eye, which have a positive effect on the function of the visual apparatus: high levels of lutein and zeaxanthin, Vitamins and trace elements with antioxidant properties (A, C, E, zinc, manganese, Selenium and copper), vitamins of group B  and omega-3 fatty acids.

 Composition:                                                                                                                                                                          

1 capsule contains:

Polyunsaturated fatty acids, monounsaturated fatty acids, corn oil, unsaturated fatty acids; microcrystalline cellulose, soy lecithin, silicon dioxide, mixture of tocopherols.

The composition of the capsule shell: gelatin (E 441), purified water, glycerin (422), sunset sunflower yellow (E 110), titanium dioxide (E 171).

Substances contained in the preparation SuperOptic, designed primarily to protect against damage to the macula, retina and lens. The macula is the central and most sensitive part of the retina. Visual acuity depends on the normal functioning of the retinal yellow spot. The factors that adversely affect the functioning of the yellow spot include: age, smoking,  long-term exposure of the eye to intense light (ultraviolet radiation), as well as a deficiency of so-called antioxidants.

The adverse effect of the above environmental factors is mainly associated with the formation of free radicals. Free radicals are also formed in the body through many metabolic processes. Free radicals are atoms, molecules or ions that exhibit high chemical activity with respect to the constituent cell membranes (destroy by their oxidation). An excess of free radicals contributes to the ophthalmic pathologies such as macular degeneration and cataracts. When free radicals damage the yellow spot of the retina, deterioration may occur, and often complete loss of central vision, deterioration of color perception, difficulty in reading, and in exceptional cases even blindness. Damage to the free radicals of the lens of the eye can lead to the development of cataracts.

In addition to protecting the eyes from the adverse effects of environmental factors, substances,contained in the drug, relieve symptoms of eye fatigue caused by prolonged visual concentration, increase visual acuity and improve the adaptation of vision in the dark. Such effect of action is provided with optimally selected composition of the product:

-Carotenoids: lutein and zeaxanthin are found in the yellow spot of the retina. The intake of these substances leads to an increase in the optical density of the yellow spot, which contributes to the normal functioning of the retina, and therefore, vision. In addition, these substances protect the eyes from sunlight and harmful ultraviolet radiation, acting like a light filter, and protect against the effects of free radicals on the retina, and especially the yellow spot (antioxidant effect).

-Strong Vitamins C and E, omega-3 fatty acids also have an antioxidant effect. and included in antioxidant enzymes zinc, selenium, manganese  and copper. In addition, Vitamin E supports the normal functioning of the blood vessels of the retina, and one of the components related to omega-3 fatty acids is DHA acid (docosahexaenoic acid) increases the sensitivity of the receptors.

-Vitamin A in the retina, it is converted to rhodopsin, a visual pigment necessary for vision at dusk and in low light. Vitamin A is also involved in the process of protecting the conjunctiva of the eye from drying out.

-Vitamins of group B play an important role in maintaining the physiological functions of the visual apparatus, improving vision by increasing the sensitivity of the retina and taking part in the functioning of the nervous system,innervating organ of vision.

Substances included in the product SuperOpticnecessary for the normal functioning of the visual apparatus, are not synthesized in the human body and must come from food. In cases of an unbalanced diet, lack of physical activity, alcohol abuse, smoking, stress and fatigue, a regular diet should be replenished with essential elements.

Persons over 40 years of age, taking into account the deterioration of vision associated with age, as well as those of younger age, whose organ of vision is intensively exposed to the adverse effects of the environment / external factors, that is:

- working at the computer;                                                                                                                                

 - smoking cigarettes;                                                                                                                                                    

- staying in smoky rooms;                                                                                                       

- exposed to intense sunlight;                                                                       

  -conducting many hours of reading or watching TV programs;                                                       

- the manager of vehicles after dusk.

 Contraindications:                                                                                                                               

Hypersensitivity to the drug.

 Mode of application:                                                                                                                                                                         

1 capsule per day. Wash down the capsule with a small amount of liquid. It is recommended to take the product with meals. Do not chew  and do not dissolve.Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.

The product should not be taken by pregnant women and children under 12 years of age, since these people lack data on the safety of using lutein and zeaxanthin.
