Composition and release form

Flucinar - ointment:

1 g of ointment contains fluocinolone acetonide 0.25 mg, excipients: propylene glycol; citric acid; anhydrous lanolin; petrolatum white;

in tubes of 15 g;

Flucinar - gel:

1 g of gel contains fluocinolone acetonide 0.25 mg; excipients: propylene glycol; ethanol; ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid disodium salt (Trilon B); citric acid; methyl hydroxybenzoate; propyl hydroxybenzoate; carbapol 940; triethanolamine; purified water;

in tubes of 15 g.

pharmachologic effect

Flucinar has anti-inflammatory, antiallergic, antipruritic, antiexudative action.

Indications

Severe inflammatory and allergic diseases of the skin and mucous membranes (including those resistant to other corticosteroids): neurodermatitis, eczema, psoriasis, lichen planus, seborrheic dermatitis.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity; acne; bacterial (including tuberculosis), fungal, viral and neoplastic diseases of the skin.

Use during pregnancy and lactation

Flucinar is not recommended for use during pregnancy.

Side effects

Atrophy of the skin and subcutaneous fat, lupus-like syndrome with a mild course,the appearance or aggravation of the symptoms of red flat lichen, impaired epithelialization, delayed healing of wounds and ulcerative lesions, petechiae, steroid purpura, stretch marks, hirsutism, alopecia in women, maculopapular skin rash.

Dosage and administration

Flucinar is used externally. Apply on the affected surface, gently rubbing, 1-2 times a day, not more than 2 g / day. In psoriasis, an occlusive dressing is possible. Course duration - no more than 1-2 weeks. On the skin of the face is used very carefully and not more than 1 week.

Children older than 2 years - with caution, only 1 time per day, in small areas of the skin.

Storage conditions and shelf life

Store in a cool and dark place, protected from light and moisture, at a temperature not higher than 25 ° C. Shelf life - 5 years.
