Composition

1 ml of drops contains Ofloxacin 3 mg, excipients: benzalkonium chloride - 0.025 mg; sodium chloride - 9 mg; 1M solution of hydrochloric acid - 4.5-5.5 mg; 1M solution of sodium hydroxide - 2.5-3.5 mg; water for injection - up to 1 ml

Packaging

Bottle of 5 ml.

Mechanism of action

Floxal has a broad spectrum antibacterial, bactericidal effect.

Indications and usage

Infectious and inflammatory diseases of the anterior part of the eye caused by microorganisms that are sensitive to ofloxacin:

• blepharitis;
• barley;
• conjunctivitis;
• dacryocystitis;
• keratitis and corneal ulcer;
• chlamydia infection of the eye;
• prevention and treatment of bacterial infections after eye injuries and surgical interventions.

Contraindications

• hypersensitivity to the components of Floxal;
• pregnancy;
• lactation.

Dosage and administration

Floxal used conjunctival. Drops - instilled 1 drop in the conjunctival sac of the sore eye 2-4 times a day. It is not recommended to use Floxal more than 2 weeks.

Adverse reactions

Allergic reactions, transient conjunctival hyperemia, burning sensation, discomfort in the eyes, itching and dryness of the conjunctiva, photophobia, tearing; rarely - dizziness.

Storage conditions

In the dark place at a temperature of no higher than 25 ° C.
