Open the packaging along the cutting line and remove the coating with protective layers. If necessary, with the help of scissors from the coating cut a fragment corresponding to the size of the wound surface. Remove one of the protective layers from the ointment coating or its fragment. Apply the coating so that it protrudes by 0.5 cm beyond the edges of the wound and after 1–2 minutes remove the second protective layer. Cover with a sterile gauze cloth and fix with a bandage.
