Carbinoxamine has an antihistamine effect, has a moderately pronounced anticholinergic activity. Rinopront for 10-12 hours eliminates the symptoms of rhinitis, a burning sensation in the eyes and heaviness in the head.

Precautions should be prescribed the drug to patients engaged in potentially hazardous activities that require increased attention and speed of psychomotor reactions.
With simultaneous use, Rinopront enhances the action of central nervous system depressants, such as alcohol, anxiolytics, sedatives and hypnotics. Simultaneous administration of guanethidine may potentiate the sympathomimetic (ie, vasoconstrictor) effect of the drug.
In infants and elderly patients, in the event of an overdose, a state of psychomotor agitation may develop.
In such cases, you should immediately consult with a doctor who, if necessary, will take appropriate measures:
Patients with symptoms of acute overdose are recommended to have a gastric lavage.
