Composition

Pharmacology

Antistax - capillary protective agent of plant origin. Extract from red leaves of grapes contains pharmacologically active flavonoids, the main of which are quercetin-glucuronide and isoquercetin. The drug has a protective effect on the vascular epithelium (stabilizing membranes) and increases the elasticity of blood vessels (normalizing vascular permeability). Reducing the permeability of the vascular wall to plasma, proteins or water from the vessels into the surrounding tissue slows the formation of edema and reduces the already existing edema.

Indications and usage

Prevention and symptomatic treatment of chronic venous insufficiency (in combination with varicose veins), including edema of the lower limbs, feeling of heaviness and fatigue in the lower limbs, feeling of tension, paresthesia (change of sensitivity) and pain.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to the components of this drug.

Dosage and administration

Inside The recommended dose for adults - 2 capsules a day to take in the morning before meals. The dose may be increased to 4 capsules per day. Capsules should be swallowed whole and washed down with water.
