Indications and usage

Bacterial infections caused by susceptible organisms (primarily Staphylococcus spp and Streptococcus spp, especially microorganisms resistant to penicillins, as well as allergies to penicillin..): Sepsis, subacute bacterial endocarditis, lung abscess, empyema, pleural effusion, otitis media, osteomyelitis ( acute and chronic), purulent arthritis, postoperative purulent complications, wound infection, infections of the skin and soft tissues (pyoderma, furunculosis, phlegmon, erysipelas).

Contraindications
Hypersensitivity, pregnancy (with the exception of cases when it is necessary according to "vital" indications), severe hepatic and / or renal failure; lactation period, early chest age (up to 1 month).

Side effects
On the part of the digestive tract organs: nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal pain, glossitis, stomatitis, transient hyperbilirubinemia, increased activity of hepatic transaminases; with prolonged use - gastrointestinal candidiasis, antibiotic-associated diarrhea, pseudomembranous enterocolitis.

From the side of blood-forming organs: reversible leukopenia, thrombocytopenia, neutropenia.

Allergic reactions: urticaria, exfoliative dermatitis, angioedema, anaphylactic shock.

Other: local reactions with a / in the introduction - phlebitis; with rapid on / in the introduction - lowering blood pressure, dizziness, asthenia, relaxation of skeletal muscles.

Mode of application
V / m, adults, 0.5 g 2 times a day, in severe cases, 0.5 g 3 times a day; children - daily dose of 15-30 mg / kg in 2 administration. In / in the drip (60–80 drops / min) 0.6 g 3 times a day. The course is 7–14 days, in some cases up to 1 month.
