Indications

The drug is used in adults as part of complex therapy:

- viral hepatitis A, B and C;

- herpes infection;

- cytomegalovirus infection;

- infectious-allergic and viral encephalomyelitis;

- urogenital and respiratory chlamydia;

- non-gonococcal urethritis;

- pulmonary tuberculosis.

Dosage and administration

The drug is taken orally after meals.

At treatment of influenza and other acute respiratory viral infections - in the first two days of the disease - 125 mg, then - every other day, 125 mg. Course dose - 750 mg (for the course of treatment - 6 tab. 125 mg each).

For prevention of influenza and other acute respiratory viral infections - 125 mg once a week for 6 weeks. For the course of treatment - 6 tab. 125 mg.

For treatment of viral hepatitis A - the first day 125 mg 2 times, then 125 mg every other day. Heading dose - 1.25 g (per course of treatment - 10 tab. 125 mg each).

For treatment of acute hepatitis B - the first and second days for 125 mg, then - for 125 mg every other day. The course dose - 2 g (for the course of treatment - 16 tab. 125 mg each), with a protracted course of hepatitis B - 125 mg 2 times / day on the first day, then - 125 mg every other day. The course dose is 2.5 g (for the course of treatment - 20 tab. 125 mg each).

At chronic hepatitis B - the initial phase of treatment (2.5 g) - the first two days at 250 mg, then - at 125 mg every other day. The continuation phase (from 1.25 g to 2.5 g) is 125 mg per week.Course dose drug Lavomaks® from 3.75 to 5 g (for a course of treatment - from 30 to 40 tab. 125 mg each), the duration of therapy is 3.5-6 months depending on the results of biochemical, immunological, morphological studies, reflecting the degree of activity of the process.

At acute hepatitis C - the first and second days for 125 mg, then - for 125 mg every other day. Course dose - 2.5 g (per course of treatment - 20 tab. 125 mg each).

At chronic hepatitis C - the initial phase of treatment (2.5 g) - the first two days at 250 mg, then - 125 mg every other day. The continuation phase (2.5 g) - 125 mg per week. Course dose drug Lavomaks® - 5 g (per course of treatment - 40 tab. 125 mg each). The duration of therapy is 6 months, depending on the results of biochemical, immunological, morphological markers of the process activity.

For treatment of herpes, cytomegalovirus infection - the first two days, 125 mg, then - every other day, 125 mg. Course dose - 2.5 g (per course of treatment - 20 tab. 125 mg each).

At urogenital and respiratory chlamydia, non-gonococcal urethritis - the first two days, 125 mg, then - every other day, 125 mg. Heading dose - 1.25 g (per course of treatment - 10 tab. 125 mg each).

AT composition of complex therapy of pulmonary tuberculosis - the first two days at 250 mg, then - at 125 mg every other day. Course dose - 2.5 g (per course of treatment - 20 tab. 125 mg each).

AT the composition of the complex therapy of neurovirus infections the dose is set individually, the course of treatment is 4 weeks.

Adverse effects

Possible: short-term chills, allergic reactions, dyspepsia symptoms.

Contraindications

- pregnancy;

- lactation period (breastfeeding);

- children's and teenage age up to 18 years;

- deficiency of sucrase / isomaltase, fructose intolerance, glucose-galactose malabsorption (the product contains sucrose);
