Composition

1 pill for resorption contains: 2,4-dichlorobenzyl alcohol - 1.2 mg, amylmetacresol - 0.6 mg.
Excipients: tartaric acid, sodium saccharinate, lemon flavor 74940-74, quinoline yellow dye (E104), isomaltose, maltitol syrup.

Mechanism of action

Strepsils has an antiseptic effect, is active against a wide range of gram-positive and gram-negative microorganisms in vitro, and has an antimycotic effect.

Indications and usage

Infectious and inflammatory diseases of the mouth and pharynx (to relieve pain when swallowing).

Contraindications

- Hypersensitivity to the drug.
- Children's age (up to 12 years).
With care: pregnancy, lactation, bronchial asthma.

Pregnancy and breastfeeding

The use of the drug during pregnancy and lactation is possible only under the supervision of a physician.

Dosage and administration

Adults and children over 12 years old: dissolve one pill every 2-3 hours. Do not take more than 12 pills within 24 hours. Children 12-17 years old do not take more than 8 pills within 24 hours.

Overdosage

Symptoms: overdose is unlikely, possible overdose can lead to discomfort from the gastrointestinal tract: nausea.
