Taurine is a sulfur-containing amino acid that is formed in the body during the conversion of cysteine. The drug is prescribed for adults with:
- Cornea dystrophies.
- Senile, traumatic, radiation and other types of cataracts.
- With corneal injuries (as a stimulator of reparative processes).
- Increased sensitivity to taurine.

- Pregnancy.
- The period of breastfeeding.
