Composition

Coated tablets:
1 tab. contains Levofloxacin 250 and 500 mg,
5 or 10 pcs. packaged.

Mechanism of action

Eleflox has a broad spectrum antibacterial, bactericidal effect.

Indications and usage

Infectious and inflammatory diseases caused by susceptible organisms, acute sinusitis, acute exacerbations of chronic bronchitis, community-acquired pneumonia, uncomplicated and complicated urinary tract infections (including pyelonephritis), prostatitis, infections of skin and soft tissues, septicemia / bacteremia associated with the readings, intraabdominal listed above infection.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to levofloxacin or to other quinolones; epilepsy; tendon lesion in previously treated quinolone; childhood and adolescence (up to 18 years) due to the likelihood of damage to the articular cartilage; pregnancy; breastfeeding period.

Dosage and administration

Eleflox is taken orally, before meals or in between meals, without chewing, drinking plenty of liquid.
With sinusitis - inside, 500 mg 1 time per day; during exacerbation of chronic bronchitis - 250-500 mg 1 time per day.

With pneumonia - inside, 250-500 mg 1-2 times a day (0.5-1 g / day); in / in the 500 mg 1-2 times a day.

With urinary tract infections - inside, 250 mg 1 time per day; in / in the same dose.

With infections of the skin and soft tissues - inside, 250-500 mg 1-2 times a day.

Adverse reactions

Gastrointestinal: nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, loss of appetite, abdominal pain, pseudomembranous enterocolitis; increased activity of liver transaminases, hyperbilirubinemia, hepatitis, dysbacteriosis.
From the CCC: decrease in blood pressure, vascular collapse, tachycardia. Metabolism: hypoglycemia (increased appetite, increased sweating, tremors).
From the nervous system: headache, dizziness, weakness, drowsiness, insomnia, paresthesias, anxiety, fear, hallucinations, confusion, depression, movement disorders, convulsions.
From the senses: impaired vision, hearing, smell, taste and tactile sensitivity.
Musculoskeletal system: arthralgia, myasthenia, myalgia, tendon rupture, tendonitis.
Urogenital: hypercreatininemia, interstitial nephritis.
From the side of blood-forming organs: eosinophilia, hemolytic anemia, leukopenia, neutropenia, agranulocytosis, thrombocytopenia, pancytopenia, hemorrhages.
Allergic reactions: photosensitization, itching, swelling of the skin and mucous membranes, urticaria, malignant exudative erythema (Stevens-Johnson syndrome), toxic epidermal necrolysis (Lyell's syndrome), bronchospasm, suffocation, anaphylactic shock, allergic pneumonitis, vasculitis.
Other: exacerbation of porphyria, rhabdomyolysis, persistent fever, development of superinfection.
