Mechanism of action

Large plantain juice is obtained from fresh leaves of large plantain. The pharmacological activity of the drug is primarily due to the presence of iridoids, polysaccharides and flavonoids.

Plantain juice stimulates the secretion of gastric juice, increases its acidity, has wound-healing, anti-inflammatory, hemostatic effect, has antispasmodic properties.

Indications and usage

- Chronic hypoacid gastritis.

Contraindications
