Composition
1 pill (50 mg) contains a mixture of polysaccharides from the herb Althea drug, sodium bicarbonate, tartaric acid.

pharmachologic effect
Mukaltin has expectorant properties - due to reflex stimulation it enhances the activity of ciliated epithelium and peristalsis of the respiratory bronchioles in combination with increased secretion of bronchial glands.
Sodium bicarbonate dilutes sputum and slightly increases bronchial secretion.
Indications
Acute and chronic diseases of the respiratory system, accompanied by the formation of difficult-to-separate sputum of increased viscosity (tracheobronchitis, COPD, bronchiectasis, pneumonia, pulmonary emphysema, pneumoconiosis, etc.)
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to the drug; peptic ulcer and 12 duodenal ulcer.
Mode of application:
inside, for adults and children from 12 years old, 1-2mtab 2-3 times a day before meals. The course of treatment is on average 7-14 days
Children can dissolve the pill in 1/3 cup of warm water.
Side effects
Diarrheal disorders (including nausea), rarely - allergic reactions.
Drug interaction
Not prescribed simultaneously with drugs containing codeine (it may be difficult to cough up diluted sputum).

In a dry dark place.
