Active ingredient and dosage form

Omnick - modified release capsules:

1 capsule contains Tamsulosin hydrochloride 0.4 mg; 10 per pack.

Mechanism of action

Omnick has an alpha-adrenolytic effect.

Dysuric disorders in benign prostatic hyperplasia (treatment).

Contraindications

hypersensitivity to tamsulosin or any other component of the drug; orthostatic hypotension (including history); severe liver failure. With caution - severe renal failure (Cl creatinine <10 ml / min).

Adverse reactions

Rarely - dizziness, retrograde ejaculation; in rare cases - orthostatic hypotension, tachycardia / palpitations, asthenia, headache. On the gastrointestinal tract: rarely - nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, constipation. In extremely rare cases, hypersensitivity reactions (skin rash, itching, angioedema) may occur.

Dosage and administration

Omnic take inside. After breakfast, drinking water, 1 caps. (0.4 mg) 1 time per day. Capsule is not recommended to chew, because this may affect the rate of release of the drug.

Special notes

As with other α1-adrenergic blockers, in the case of treatment with Omnick, in some cases, a decrease in blood pressure may occur, which can sometimes lead to fainting.
