Active ingredient and dosage form

Tonsilotrenpills:
Table 1 contains Atropinum sulfuricum D5 12.5 mg, Hepar sulfuris D3 10 mg, Kalium bichromicum D4 50 mg, Silicea D2 5 mg, Mercurius bijodatus D8 25 mg,
Excipients: lactose monohydrate; sucrose; Magnesium stearate;

Mechanism of action

Tonsilotren has anti-inflammatory effects.

Indications and usage

 
Acute angina (catarrhal, lacunar, follicular); chronic tonsillitis; to accelerate the healing of the pharyngeal mucosa after the removal of the tonsils (in complex therapy).

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to chromium or other components of Tonsilotren.
It is not recommended to use the drug in children under 3 years of age due to insufficient clinical data.
Carefully - hyperthyroidism.

Pregnancy and Breastfeeding

Perhaps the use Tonsilotrena during pregnancy and during breastfeeding, if the expected effect of therapy outweighs the potential risk to the fetus (child).

Adverse reactions

Dosage and administration

Tonsilotren is taken orally,; slowly dissolving, half an hour before or half an hour after eating. Children 3–5 years old should dissolve the pill in a small amount of liquid or give it in crushed form, under the tongue.
In the acute course of the disease, adults and children after 12 years old - 1 tabl. every hour for 1–2 days (no more than 12 times a day) until the onset of improvement, then 1-2 tablets. 3 times a day until complete recovery; children 3–12 years old - 1 tab. every 2 hours for 1–2 days (no more than 8 times a day) until improvement occurs, then 1 tab. 3 times a day until complete recovery.
In chronic tonsillitis in adults and children after 12 years, 1-2 tablets. 3 times a day; children 3–12 years old - 1 tab. 3 times a day. The duration of admission - 6-8 weeks. It is recommended to conduct repeated courses of treatment (several times a year) after consulting a doctor.
