Active ingredient

solvent: ethanol - 17 g, diisopropyl sebactat - 7.8 g;

Mechanism of action

Erythromycin-zinc complex. It has anti-inflammatory, antibacterial and comedolytic action.
Erythromycin acts bacteriostatic on microorganisms that cause acne: Propionibacterium acne and Streptococcus epidermidis. Zinc reduces the secretion of sebaceous glands, has an astringent effect.

The complex relationship of the components of the drug provides good penetration into the skin of active substances.
Zinc is mainly associated with the follicular epithelium and is not resorbed into the systemic circulation.
A small part of erythromycin undergoes systemic absorption and is subsequently excreted from the body.

Indications and usage

Acne treatment.

Contraindications

- hypersensitivity to erythromycin and other macrolides;
- hypersensitivity to zinc or other components of the drug.

Dosage and administration

Using the supplied applicator, the prepared Zenerite solution is applied in a thin layer to the affected skin area 2 times / day: in the morning (before applying makeup) and in the evening (after washing). Apply the product should be by tilting the bottle with the prepared solution down, with a slight pressure. The rate of application of the solution is regulated by the force of pressure of the applicator on the skin. Approximate single dose - 0.5 ml. After drying, the solution becomes invisible.
Course duration - 10-12 weeks. In some cases, clinical improvement occurs within 2 weeks.

Adverse reactions

Local reactions: sometimes there may be a burning sensation, irritation, dry skin at the site of application of the drug. As a rule, these phenomena are mild and do not require discontinuation of the drug and / or symptomatic therapy.
