Composition

Invega long acting tablets:
1 pill contains paliperidone 3 mg, 6 mg, 9 mg, 12 mg;
Excipients: macrogol 200K; macrogol 7000K; sodium chloride; Povidone (C29-32); hydroxyethyl cellulose; stearic acid; butylhydroxytoluene; iron oxide red; iron oxide yellow; macrogol 3350; cellulose acetate (398-10); white dye (hypromellose, titanium dioxide, lactose monohydrate, triacetin); carnauba wax

Invega - antipsychotic (neuroleptic).
Paliperidone is a centrally acting dopamine antagonist D₂ receptors, which also has high antagonism against serotonin 5-HT₂ -receptors. In addition, paliperidone is an alpha antagonist.₁- and alpha₂-adrenergic receptors and H₁- histamine receptors.

Schizophrenia, incl. in the acute phase;
Prevention of exacerbations of schizophrenia.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to paliperidone, Risperidone, as well as to any auxiliary ingredient of the drug.
