Geptor - coated tablets, soluble in the intestines:
1 pill contains S-adenosylmethionine 400 mg; 10, 20, 40 and 50 pieces per pack.
Geptor has a hepatoprotective, anti-depressive effect.
Intrahepatic cholestasis, hepatitis of various genesis: toxic (including alcoholic), viral, medicinal crypts (antibiotics, anticancer, antituberculosis and antiviral drugs, tricyclic antidepressants, oral contraceptives), pre-cirrhotic conditions, hepatic cirrhosis, encephalopathy cases, hepatopathy, encephalopathy, encephalopathy, encephalopathy, encephalopathy, encephalopathy including secondary; alcohol withdrawal syndrome.
Hypersensitivity.
Geptor is not recommended to be taken in the I-II trimester of pregnancy and during breastfeeding.
Due to the fact that the active substance of the drug has an acidic pH, some patients may experience discomfort in the epigastric region with the use of Geptor. In any case, these feelings are short-lived, they are not pronounced and should not be a reason for stopping the course of treatment.
The drug should be taken orally, swallowing whole, not chewing. To improve the therapeutic effect of pills Geptor is recommended to be taken between meals. During the period of maintenance therapy, the recommended daily dose is 800-1600 mg (2-4 tablets). The duration of maintenance therapy is on average 2-4 weeks.
Given the tonic effect of Geptor, it is not recommended to take before bedtime. Oral use of the drug by patients with cirrhosis associated with hyperazotemia should be carried out under the supervision of a physician with controlled nitrogen levels.
The drug should be stored out of reach of children at a temperature not exceeding 25 ° C. Shelf life - 2 years.
