Composition and release form

Indications

Amebiasis, urogenital trichomoniasis, nonspecific vaginitis, giardiasis (intestinal and hepatic), surgical infections caused by anaerobes.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity.

Use during pregnancy and lactation

During pregnancy, flagella is prescribed with caution, and during lactation, breastfeeding is stopped.

Side effects

Nausea, metallic taste in the mouth, anorexia, epigastric pain, vomiting, diarrhea, headache, dizziness, allergic reactions (urticaria, pruritus), leukopenia, peripheral neuropathy, with prolonged treatment with large doses, brown-reddish urine staining may occur.

Dosage and administration

With anaerobic infections in adults - 1-1.5 g / day, for children - at the rate of 20-30 mg / kg / day.
