Composition

1 g of cream contains

active ingredient: Dexpanthenol 50.0 mg;

excipients: DL-pantolactone 5.0 mg, phenoxyethanol 5.0 mg, potassium cetyl phosphate (amphizol K) 12.7 mg, cetyl alcohol 24.0 mg, stearyl alcohol 16.0 mg, lanolin 13.0 mg, isopropyl myristate 35, 0 mg, propylene glycol 15.0 mg, purified water to 1000.0 mg.

Description

Soft elastic homogeneous matte cream from white to white with a yellowish shade of color with a slight specific smell.

Pharmacological properties

Dexpanthenol in skin cells quickly turns into pantothenic acid, which is an integral part of coenzyme A and plays an important role both in the formation and in the healing of damaged skin; stimulates skin regeneration, normalizes cellular metabolism.

Pharmacokinetics

When applied externally, it is quickly absorbed by the skin (absorbs quickly) and turns into pantothenic acid, binds to plasma proteins (mainly beta-globulin and albumin). Pantothenic acid is not metabolized in the body and is excreted unchanged.

Indications for use

In violation of the integrity of the skin: healing of burns (includingsolar), minor skin lesions (abrasions, cuts, cracks, etc.).

Prevention and treatment of dry skin, including as a result of dermatitis of various origins, as well as daily care of areas of the skin that are most exposed to external factors (face, hands).

For breast care during lactation (cracks and redness of the nipples of the mammary gland), for the care of infants and babies (diaper rash, “diaper” dermatitis).

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to the drug.

Use during pregnancy and during breastfeeding

Bepanthen can be used during pregnancy and during breastfeeding.

If the drug is used to treat nipple cracks during lactation, it should be washed away before breastfeeding.

Dosage and administration

Outwardly. The cream is applied with a thin layer 1-2 times a day on the affected surface and lightly rubbed.

When caring for the mammary gland cream is applied to the nipple surface after each feeding.

When caring for babies, cream is applied with each change of the diaper (diaper).

Side effect

Allergic reactions are possible in extremely rare cases.

At 3.5 g, 30 g, 50 g or 100 g of the drug in an aluminum tube with a polyethylene spout, closed with an aluminum membrane, closed with a screw-on polypropylene cap with a tip for piercing the membrane.
