Mechanism of action

Pirogenal has an immunomodulatory effect.

Indications and usage

• Nonspecific therapy of such diseases as:
• chronic liver disease;
• strictures of the urethra and ureters;
• chronic prostatitis and urethritis;
• inflammatory processes of the uterus;
• secondary infertility;
• adhesive disease of the abdominal cavity;
• burn disease;
• venereal diseases.
• non-specific therapy of such diseases and conditions as:
• human papillomavirus infection;
• immunoprophylaxis and immunorehabilitation with incomplete recovery from acute bacterial and viral disease.

• hypersensitivity;
• heart failure;
• hepatic and / or renal failure;
• autoimmune diseases (in history);
• pregnancy;
• lactation.

Contraindicated in pregnancy. At the time of treatment should stop breastfeeding.

Dosage and administration

V / m, 1 time per day. Injections are made every other day. If necessary, diluted with 0.9% sodium chloride solution for injection. The preparation in the opened ampoule is not subject to storage. Initial single dose - 2.5 mcg. In the following days, the dose is gradually increased by 2.5–5 mcg. The maximum single dose - 100 mg. Full course - from 10 to 30 injections. In case of need, the courses of injection are repeated not less than in 2–3 months. When pyrogenate is prescribed for pyrotherapy, the drug is administered intramuscularly once a day, starting with 10–25 mcg, with a gradual increase in the dose to 100–150 mcg. Injections are made after 1 or 2 days as prescribed by a doctor. As prescribed by a doctor, it is also possible to combine the use of intramuscular injections with the administration of suppositories.

Adverse reactions

Temperature rises to 37–37.6 ° C, in rare cases - flu-like syndrome (fever, headache, fatigue, myalgia, chills, arthralgia, anorexia, nausea).

The drug is compatible and well combined with all drugs used in the treatment of diseases and conditions specified in the indications. Enhances the effectiveness of chemotherapeutic drugs as part of complex therapy.
