Mechanism of action

PERTUSIN - a combination preparation of plant origin.
Thyme herb has an expectorant effect, increases the amount of secretory secreted by the mucous membrane of the upper respiratory tract, contributes to the dilution of sputum and accelerate its excretion. Potassium bromide reduces the excitability of the central nervous system.

Indications and usage

As an expectorant drug: acute respiratory infections, tracheitis, bronchitis; whooping cough.

Contraindications

- hypersensitivity;
- decompensated chronic heart failure;
- pregnancy;
- lactation period.

Dosage and administration

Inside Adults - 1 tablespoonful, children (depending on age) - from 1/2 tsp to 1 desc.lokki 3 times a day.

Adverse reactions

Allergic reactions, heartburn.
