Fucidin 2% cream 15g

Indications and usage

- skin infections caused by bacteria susceptible to fusidic acid.

Cream and ointment is used externally.

Have adults and children from birth to 18 years cream or ointment is applied to the affected skin with a thin layer 3-4 times / day.

When using gauze dressings, the frequency of application can be reduced to 1-2 times / day.

The duration of treatment depends on the form and severity of the disease and averages 7-14 days.

Adverse reactions

Side effects are very rare and can be expected in about 5% of patients.

Determination of the frequency of adverse reactions: very often (> 1/10), often (> 1/100 and <1/10), infrequently (> 1/1000 and <1/100), rarely (> 1/10 000 and <1/1000), very rarely (<1/10 000).

Dermatologic: infrequently - a rash (erythematous, maculopapular, pustular), skin irritation, including pain, burning sensation, tingling sensation on the skin, itching, dry skin, contact dermatitis; rarely - eczema, periorbital edema, erythema.

Allergic reactions: rarely - urticaria, angioedema, eczema.

Special senses: rarely, conjunctival irritation.

The patient should inform the doctor about the occurrence of any of the above or not mentioned side effects.

Contraindications

- hypersensitivity to the drug.
