Active ingredient and dosage form

pills - biconvex light green color.

Each pill contains at least 0.1 g of the substance "Clam" in terms of dry substance, lipids of at least 0.040 g, Iodine of at least 0.100 mg (iodine is contained in an organically bound form).
Excipients: microcrystalline cellulose, milk sugar, refined sugar, potato starch, low molecular weight medical polyvinylpyrrolidone, Magnesium carbonate, Calcium stearate, methylcellulose, titanium dioxide pigment grade A, twin 80, copper chlorophyll derivatives.

Mechanism of action

Mamoclam has a therapeutic effect in case of fibrocystic mastopathy. Reduces the manifestations of mastalgia, leads to regression of cysts, normalizes the processes of proliferation of the epithelium of the mammary glands.

Raw materials for the production of Mamoclama - kelp seaweed - are harvested in ecologically clean areas of the White Sea and dried. Harvesting and primary processing of algae is done at the Arkhangelsk Algae Plant, the only enterprise in Russia engaged in the industrial processing of algae. Dried and crushed raw materials - thallus and kelp rhizoids - are extracted with ethyl alcohol with the addition of water. The extractant is regenerated.The remainder - the extractives of kelp are divided into two fractions: lipid (laminaria concentrate) and water (kelp extract). Then the kelp concentrate is hydrolyzed, resulting in the substance “Clam”.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to the drug;
kidney disease;
hyperfunction of the thyroid gland;
multinodular goiter;
thyrotoxicosis of various origins;
pregnancy;
breastfeeding period.

Mamoclam used inside before meals, a single dose - 1-2 tablets, 2-3 times a day at regular intervals during the day (daily dose of 3-6 tablets), the duration of treatment is not more than one month.
If necessary, it is recommended to repeat the treatment after the break from 2 weeks to 3 months.

Adverse reactions

Allergic reactions, mainly in the form of pruritus, redness of the skin and skin rashes; heartburn; flatulence; diarrhea.

Drug interactions

When using the drug mamoklam in therapeutic doses, the body receives iodine in doses slightly higher than the recommended physiological dose of this trace element, and therefore mamoklam should not be used with drugs containing iodine.
