Active ingredient and dosage form

1 g of ointment contains Tetracycline 30 mg;
Excipients; anhydrous lanolin, paraffin, ceresin, sodium sulfuric acid, petrolatum;
in tubes of 15 g.

Mechanism of action

Tetracycline ointment has a bacteriostatic effect.

Indications and usage

Purulent infections of soft tissues, Furunculosis, Eczema infected, Rash, Acne, Folliculitis.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to tetracycline.
Children's age (up to 11 years).

Dosage and administration

The ointment is applied to the affected skin 1-2 times a day (it is possible to apply an occlusive dressing).

Adverse reactions

Allergic reactions: burning, skin flushing, swelling, or other signs of irritation.
