Mechanism of action


Azopt is an inhibitor of carbonic anhydrase, reduces intraocular pressure by reducing the production of intraocular fluid.

Indications and usage

Dosage and administration

1 drop in the conjunctival sac of the affected eye (s) 2 times a day.

Adverse reactions


In rare cases, blurred vision, bitter, sour or unusual taste in the mouth.
