Pharmacology

Combined drug that regulates the exchange of Calcium and phosphorus in the body (bones, teeth, nails, hair, muscles). Reduces calcium resorption and increases bone density, replenishing calcium and vitamin D deficiency₃ in the body. Essential for the mineralization of teeth.

Calcium participates in the regulation of nerve conduction, muscle contraction and is a component of the blood coagulation system.

Vitamin D₃ increases the absorption of calcium in the intestine. Calcium and Vitamin D use₃ prevents the increase in parathyroid hormone production, which is a stimulator of increased bone resorption. Vitamin D₃ absorbed in the small intestine. Calcium is absorbed in the ionized form in the proximal small intestine through an active, D-vitamin dependent transport mechanism.

Indications

Pregnanacy and breastfeeding
