Tantum Verde Spray 30ml

Indications

Inflammatory diseases of the oral cavity and ENT organs:

- gingivitis, glossitis, stomatitis (including after radiation and chemotherapy);

- sore throat, pharyngitis, laryngitis, tonsillitis;

- candidiasis (as part of combination therapy);

- calculous inflammation of the salivary glands;

- after surgery and injuries (including tonsillectomy, fractures of the jaw);

- after treatment or removal of teeth;

- periodontal disease.

In infectious and inflammatory diseases, Tantum Verde should be used as part of a combination therapy.

Dosage and administration

Tablets for sucking appoint 1 tab. 3-4 times / day

The topical solution is used in 1 tablespoon (15 ml) of the preparation for rinsing the mouth or throat every 1.5-3 hours to relieve pain. After rinsing the solution must be spit out.

For adults (including elderly people) is prescribed for 4-8 doses of spray every 1.5-3 hours. Children aged 6-12 years - 4 doses; children under 6 years old the dose is set at the rate of 1 dose for every 4 kg of body weight (maximum 4 doses) every 1.5-3 hours.

Adverse effects

Local reactions: dry mouth, feeling of numbness, burning in the mouth.

Allergic reactions: skin rash.

Other: drowsiness.

Contraindications

- children's age up to 12 years (for solution for local application);

- Phenylketonuria (for tablets);

- hypersensitivity to the drug.

Use during pregnancy and lactation

Perhaps the use of the drug during pregnancy and lactation (breastfeeding) according to indications.

Use in children

The drug is contraindicated in children under 12 years old (for a solution for topical use).

Children aged 6-12 years - 4 doses; children under 6 years old the dose is set at the rate of 1 dose for every 4 kg of body weight (maximum 4 doses) every 1.5-3 hours.

Special notes

Avoid spraying the eyes.

If a burning sensation occurs during the application of the solution, then the solution should be diluted with water by 2 times by adjusting the water level to the risks in the graduated cup.

Overdosage

Currently, no cases of overdose of Tantum Verde have been reported.
