Indications and usage

Local contraception for women of reproductive age:
the presence of contraindications for oral contraceptives or intrauterine contraception;
postpartum, lactation;
period after abortion;
premenopausal period;
the need for episodic protection from pregnancy;
skipping or being late in taking daily oral contraceptives.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to the components of Benatex;
colpitis, ulceration and irritation of the mucous membrane of the vagina and uterus.

Dosage and administration

Intravaginally. Pre-releasing the Benatex suppository from the contour pack, they are inserted deep into the vagina in the supine position, no less than 5 minutes before sexual intercourse; duration of action - 4 hours. Single dose - 1 suppository for 1 sexual intercourse.

Special notes

To increase the efficiency, it is necessary to carefully observe the method of use of Benatex. May be used in conjunction with the vaginal diaphragm or intrauterine contraception. After intercourse, in order to avoid loss of the contraceptive effect, intravaginal use of hygiene products is not recommended (douching with soapy water, since soap destroys the active substance of the drug); possible external toilet genitals.
