Synocrom Forte

Sodium Hyaluronate

Composition

1 ml of Synocrom forte ONE contains 20 mg of stabilized sodium hyaluronate with a molecular weight of ~ 2.1 million Dalton, as well as sodium chloride, sodium dihydrogen phosphate dihydrate, disodium hydrogen phosphate dodecahydrate, divinyl sulfone, sodium carbonate anhydrous and water for injection.

Synocrom forte ONE is a sterile, isotonic, viscoelastic solution for intraarticular injection.

Sinokrom® forte ONE is used to increase the viscosity of synovial fluid by a single injection into the knee joint. Manipulation is carried out only by a doctor. The product is supplied in a glass syringe containing 4 ml of a 2% aqueous solution of sodium hyaluronate.

Sterilization is carried out in a ready-to-use package of high-pressure steam (autoclaving).

Pharmacology

Properties and Efficiency

All synovial joints contain viscoelastic sodium hyaluronate. This substance has lubricating and damping properties that ensure the normal, painless movement of these joints.

In degenerative diseases of the joints (osteoarthritis), the viscoelasticity of synovial fluid is significantly reduced,as a result, the mechanical load on the joint increases and the destruction of the articular cartilage increases (manifested by limitation and pain when moving in the joints).

Intra-articular injection of highly purified stabilized sodium hyaluronate with optimized viscoelastic properties allows improving the quality of joint lubrication.

Indications and usage

With pain and limited mobility in the knee joint with osteoarthritis.

Contraindications

Sinokrom® forte ONE cannot be used in patients with hypersensitivity to one of the components of the drug.

In view of the intra-articular administration of the drug, patients with bacterial arthritis and any other serious infections should refrain from treatment with this drug in order to avoid possible complications.

The attending physician should be aware of all immunological and other possible consequences of the use of biological preparations.

The ready-to-use syringe is removed from the sterile package, the rubber cap is removed by a small twist, and the appropriate sterile needle is attached, which is also fixed by a small twist until tight. The injection site is treated with an alcohol disinfectant, after which the specialist under aseptic conditions makes intra-articular injection of Sinokrom® forte ONE.

The injection needle is not included.

During insertion, you must hold the SINOCROM® Forte ONE syringe, as shown in Figure 1. Depending on the size of the knee joint, up to 4 ml can be introduced into the joint cavity. A single intra-articular injection relieves pain for 24–26 weeks.

After 26 weeks, the injection can be repeated. With bilateral treatment for each knee, you must use a separate syringe SINOKROM® forte ONE.

Side effects

When using Sinokrom® forte ONE, local symptoms (arthralgia, pain, hot flashes, redness, hematomas, and swelling) may appear.

In order to avoid such manifestations, it is recommended to apply an ice pack to the joint for 5–10 minutes.

In the case of pronounced manifestations, accompanied by severe pain, the solution should be removed from the affected joint.

Also, the following reactions are possible: itching, headache, pain in the lower leg, residual swelling, intermittent pain, transient feeling of heaviness, lasting on average from 2 to 4 days, joint stiffness, joint effusion, synovitis, joint strengthening, joint stiffness, arthritis, gait disturbance, muscle spasms, hemarthrosis, myalgia, hyperthermia, nervousness, anxiety, depression, crystalline arthropathy (pseudogout) and pseudosepsis (severe acute inflammatory reaction, SAIR).

Attention

Sinokrom® forte ONE is intended only for intraarticular injection.

The use of Sinokrom® forte ONE has not been studied in pregnant women and in children under 18 years of age.

Sinokrom® forte ONE should be kept out of the reach of children.

Sinokrom® forte ONE is intended for single use only. Re-sterilization is not allowed.

Do not use a syringe from an open and / or damaged sterile package.

Do not use a syringe with an open or damaged cap of a sterile syringe.

Do not use after the expiration date.

Interaction.

Currently, there is no information about the incompatibility of Sinokrom® Forte ONE with other solutions for intra-articular administration.

Form release and packaging.

Synocrom ®forte ONE is supplied in sterile-packed disposable syringes containing 4 ml of solution.

One ready-to-use syringe, the Sinocrom® Forte, contains 80 mg / 4 ml of sodium hyaluronate.

Packaging: 1 syringe in a blister along with instructions for use in a carton box.

Storage

Sinokrom® forte ONE should be stored in a dry, dark place, at a temperature of from 2 to 25 ° C. Do not freeze!
