Composition and release form

Rutacid - injection solution:

pharmachologic effect

Antacid. Rutacid quickly and for a long time neutralizes the hydrochloric acid of gastric juice, maintains the pH at a physiological level. It has a protective effect on the gastric mucosa. Rutacid reduces the proteolytic activity of pepsin, binds bile acids.

Indications

Gastritis (acute, chronic with increased secretory function in the acute phase), duodenitis (acute and chronic), peptic ulcer of the stomach and duodenum, reflux esophagitis; discomfort and pain in the epigastrium, heartburn, sour belching, due to errors in diet, excessive use of alcohol and drugs.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity, renal failure, age up to 6 years.

Dosage and administration

Rutacid is taken orally, thoroughly chewing, for adults and children over 12 years old - 500-1000 mg 3-4 times a day 1 hour after meals and before bedtime; with occasional use (discomfort after errors in diet, etc.) - 500-1000 mg once; Children 6-12 years old - 1/2 dose for adults.
