Active ingredient and dosage form

Tobradex eye drops:
1 ml contains tobramycin 3 mg, Dexamethasone 1 mg;
Excipients: benzalkonium chloride, disodium edetate, sodium chloride, anhydrous sodium sulfate, tyloxapol, hydroxyethyl cellulose, sulfuric acid and / or sodium hydroxide (before pH adjustment), purified water;

Mechanism of action

Tobradex has a local anti-bacterial, anti-inflammatory local effect.

Indications and usage

prevention of postoperative infections;
blepharitis;
conjunctivitis;

Contraindications

individual hypersensitivity to components of Tobradex;
viral diseases of the cornea and conjunctiva (including keratitis caused byHerpes simplex, chickenpox);

Pregnancy and Breastfeeding
