Composition

100 g ointment contains the active substance fluocinolone acetonide 25 mg.

Excipients: propylene glycol, petrolatum, anhydrous lanolin, ceresin.

Packing

In an aluminum tube 10 g ointment. In a cardboard bundle 1 tube.

Mechanism of action

Sinaflan - glucocorticosteroid for topical use. It has anti-inflammatory, anti-allergic, anti-exudative and antipruritic action. Reduces manifestations and eliminates inflammatory skin reaction.

Indications and usage

Inflammatory and allergic diseases of the skin of non-microbial etiology:
- Seborrheic dermatitis.
- Eczema of various origins and localization.
- Neurodermatitis.
- Pruritus.
- Psoriasis.
- Sunburn.
- Insect bites.
- Other chronic forms of inflammatory and allergic skin diseases, accompanied by dry skin.

Contraindications

- Hypersensitivity to the drug.
- Bacterial, viral, fungal skin diseases.
- Anogenital itching, pyoderma, skin tumors.
- Infectious diseases of the skin: skin manifestations of syphilis, skin tuberculosis, diaper rash, rosacea.
- Extensive psoriatic eruptions (plaques).
- Trophic ulcers of the leg associated with varicose veins.
- Pregnancy and lactation period.
- Children's age (up to 1 year).
With caution used in girls during puberty.

Pregnancy and Breastfeeding

Contraindicated in pregnancy and lactation.

Dosage and administration

Outwardly. On the skin, previously wiped with a swab moistened with an antiseptic liquid, a small amount of the drug is applied 2-4 times a day and lightly rubbed. The duration of treatment depends on the nature of the disease and is usually 5-10 days, with a long course of the disease - up to 25 days. With limited lesions to enhance the effect of the ointment can be applied under the occlusive dressing. It is not allowed to apply under the dressing more than 2 g of ointment per day. Ointment is preferable to use with dry forms of dermatosis.

Special notes

Apply only short courses on small areas of the skin. The drug should not be applied to the face. Avoid contact with eyes. The duration of the appointment in children should not exceed 5 days. Wear free clothing during treatment. Patients with ordinary or pink acne during treatment may exacerbate the disease. To prevent local infectious complications, it is recommended to prescribe it in combination with antimicrobial agents.

Drug Interactions

Compatible with antimicrobial agents. Reduces the activity of antihypertensives, diuretics, antiarrhythmic drugs, potassium drugs. Diuretic drugs (except potassium-sparing) increase the risk of hypokalemia.

Overdosage

Symptoms: itching, burning of the skin at the site of application of the ointment, hyperglycemia, glycosuria, Itsenko-Cushing syndrome.
Treatment: symptomatic against the background of gradual withdrawal of the drug.

Storage conditions

Store at a temperature not higher than 25 ° С.
