pharmachologic effect

Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug, a derivative of phenylacetic acid; has anti-inflammatory, analgesic, antiplatelet and antipyretic effects. Indiscriminately inhibiting cycloxygenase 1 and cycloxygenase 2, disrupts arachidonic acid metabolism, reduces the amount of prostaglandins in the focus of inflammation. Most effective for inflammatory pain.

Indications for use

• Inflammatory and degenerative diseases of the musculoskeletal system (rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis (Bechterew's disease); gouty arthritis, osteochondrosis, deforming osteoarthrosis of the peripheral joints and the spine, including with the radicular syndrome, arthritis of the spinal cord, including arthritis of the spinal cord)
  The drug is intended for symptomatic therapy, reducing pain and inflammation at the time of use, does not affect the progression of the disease.
  Pain syndrome: headache (including migraine) and toothache, lumbago, sciatica, ossalgia, neuralgia, myalgia, arthralgia, sciatica, in case of oncological diseases, post-traumatic and postoperative pain syndrome,accompanied by inflammation.

• Algomenorrhea; inflammatory processes in the pelvis, incl. adnexitis.

• As part of the treatment of infectious and inflammatory diseases of the ear, throat, nose with severe pain (pharyngitis, tonsillitis, otitis media)

Contraindications

• Hypersensitivity to the active substance, auxiliary components and other nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs.
  A complete or incomplete combination of asthma, recurrent nasal polyposis and paranasal sinuses and intolerance to Acetylsalicylic acid or another nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (including a history).

• Erosive and ulcerative lesions of the gastrointestinal tract and duodenum.
• Active Gastrointestinal bleeding.

• Inflammatory bowel disease (ulcerative colitis, Crohn's disease).

• Severe liver failure; active liver disease.
• Severe heart failure.
• Condition after coronary artery bypass surgery.

• Severe renal failure (creatinine clearance less than 30 ml / min); progressive kidney disease.

• Confirmed hyperkalemia.
• The third trimester of pregnancy.
• Children's age (up to 18 years).

• Hereditary lactose intolerance, impaired glucose-galactose absorption, lactase deficiency

Dosage and administration

Inside Accept during or after food, without chewing, washing down with enough water.
Diclofenac prolonged action is prescribed 100 mg 1 time per day.
When the optimal therapeutic effect is achieved, the dose is gradually reduced and transferred to maintenance treatment at a dose of 50 mg / day. The maximum daily dose of -150 mg.
When taking 100 mg pills of a prolonged action, if you need to increase your daily dose to 150 mg, you can additionally take 1 regular pill (50 mg) of diclofenac.
