Description

Antispasmodic - anesthetic, anti-inflammatory and antipyretic drug. It is used to relieve pain syndrome: renal colic, biliary colic, intestinal colic, spasm of the ureter or bladder, algomenorrhea, arthralgia, neuralgia, sciatica, myalgia; as an antipyretic for colds and flu.

Composition:
1 pill Spasmalgon contains metamizole sodium 500 mg, pitofenone hydrochloride 5 mg and fenpiverinium bromide 100 μg.
1 ml of spasmalgon solution contains metamizole sodium 500 mg, pitofenone hydrochloride 2 mg, fenpiverinium bromide 20 μg.

Metamizol - NSAIDs; inhibits cyclooxygenase, inhibits the synthesis of prostaglandins, prostacyclin, thromboxane.

Dosing regimen

Adults and children over 15 years old. Spasmalgon is prescribed 1-2 pills 2-3 times a day.

Sedatives and tranquilizers enhance the analgesic effect of Spasmalgone.

Tricyclic antidepressants, oral contraceptives, Allopurinol violate the metabolism of metamizole sodium in the liver and increase the toxicity of spasmalgone.

Spasmalgon lowers the level of cyclosporine in the blood.
