Mechanism of action

Viprosal B has a local irritant and analgesic effect. Causes irritation of sensitive receptors of the skin and subcutaneous tissue, dilates blood vessels, improves tissue trophism.

Indications and usage

• pain syndrome for arthritis of various etiologies;
• myalgia;
• neuralgia;
• sciatica;
• radiculitis.

Contraindications

• skin diseases (including allergic and purulent);
• active pulmonary tuberculosis;
• feverish conditions;
• total exhaustion;
• severe cerebral and coronary circulation;
• tendency to angiospasm;
• severe abnormal liver function;
• severe renal impairment;
• pregnancy;
• lactation (breastfeeding);
• hypersensitivity to the drug.

Dosage and administration

Viprosal B is used externally. The ointment is applied to the skin of the painful areas 1 time / day. in a dose of 5-10 g (1-2 teaspoons) in parts and rubbed into the skin, with severe pain - 2 times / day. until the disappearance of pain. The course of treatment is on average 10 days.

Adverse reactions

Allergic reactions: in isolated cases - skin manifestations (disappear after withdrawal of Viprosal B).

Special notes

Viprosal ointment should be avoided on open wounds and mucous membranes.
