Mechanism of action

Preparation for moistening the cornea. Acrylic acid polymer.
The gel forms a transparent lubricating and moisturizing film on the surface of the eye. The pH of the drug is close to the pH of natural tears. Reduces irritation symptoms associated with dry eye syndrome and protects the cornea from drying out.

Due to the significant molecular weight and cross-linked structure of carbomer, it is unlikely that carbomer is able to penetrate and accumulate in the tissues of the eyeball. Carbomer is not absorbed into the systemic circulation of the tear ducts and gastrointestinal tract.
The long-lasting effect of carbomer on increasing the contact time of an aqueous solution has been proven in clinical trials.

Indications and usage
