Active ingredient and dosage form

Bronchipret syrup in the form of a clear, fragrant light brown liquid; possible precipitation of a slight sediment during storage:

Mechanism of action

Bronchipret is a phytopreparation with expectorant action. It has an expectorant, anti-inflammatory, secretolytic, bronchodilator effect, helps to reduce the viscosity of sputum and accelerate its evacuation.

Indications and usage

As an expectorant in the treatment of acute and chronic inflammatory diseases of the respiratory tract, accompanied by coughing and sputum formation (tracheitis, tracheobronchitis, bronchitis).

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to the drug; children up to 3 months. (when using syrup); children's age up to 6 years (when using drops); pregnancy and lactation (breastfeeding).

Bronchipret is not recommended to be prescribed for alcoholism, epilepsy, liver diseases, diseases and injuries of the brain, since The product contains ethanol.

Dosage and administration

Bronchipret syrup should be prescribed to children and adults, depending on age or body weight.
When prescribed according to age: children from 3 to 12 months - 10-16 drops 3 times a day; children over 1 year old - 17 drops (with the addition of 3 drops for each additional year of life) 3 times a day.
