Composition

Semax 0,1% intranasal solution:
1 ml of solution contains heptapeptide 1 mg, nipagina (para-hydroxybenzoic acid methyl ester) 1 mg and purified water;
1 bottle with 3 ml of solution contains heptapeptide - 3 mg;
1 drop of solution contains 50 mcg of heptapeptide;
0.1% solution in vials of 3 ml with a stopper-pipette.

Pharmacology

Semax - a nootropic agent. The original synthetic peptide drug, which is an analogue of a fragment of adrenocorticotropic hormone (ACTH_4-10) (methionyl-glutamyl-histidyl-phenylalanyl-prolyl-glycyl-proline), completely devoid of hormonal activity.

Contraindications

Dosage and administration

Semax is administered intranasally. One drop of the standard solution contains 50 μg of the active substance. Drug interactions

Given the way of administration of Semax (intranasal), it is undesirable to administer agents with local vasoconstrictor action when administered intranasally.
