Active substance: live acidophilic lactobacilli - at least 10⁸ CFU
Excipients: Magnesium stearate, lactose monohydrate.
The composition of the shell of the capsule: gelatin.

Biological properties
The acidophilic lactobacilli of NK strains included in the preparation of Lactonorm₁, NK₂, NK₅, NK₁₂ belong to the normal human microflora. Lactobacilli normalize, maintain and regulate the physiological equilibrium of the vaginal microflora.

Indications for use
Treatment and prevention of vaginal dysbiosis.
Comprehensive treatment:
- acute, subacute, chronic vulvitis and vaginitis,
- postmenopausal atrophic vaginitis,
- bacterial vaginosis after antibiotic therapy.
Prevention of postoperative infectious complications, dysbiotic changes in the urogenital tract on the background of antibacterial therapy.
Preparation for carrying out planned gynecological operations and prenatal preparation for pregnant women at risk for inflammatory diseases.

Dosing and Administration
With the purpose of treatment: 1 vaginal capsule 2 times a day (morning and evening) for 7 days. If necessary, the course of treatment may be extended.
With the preventive purpose: 1 vaginal capsule 1 time per day at night for 7-14 days.
Treatment and / or prevention should be carried out immediately after menstruation.

Instructions for use:
Introduction of vaginal capsules without applicator.
Wash hands thoroughly with soap.
In the supine position, the vaginal capsule is inserted with a finger as deep as possible into the vagina.
Introduction of vaginal capsules using an applicator.
The vaginal capsule is placed in the opening of the applicator, slightly delaying the piston to secure the capsule. In the supine position, inject the applicator with the front end with the capsule into the vagina as deeply as possible without causing unpleasant sensations. Slowly press on the piston until it stops to exit the capsule. Carefully remove the applicator and disassemble it by pulling the piston. Wash the piston and the inner surface of the applicator with warm water and soap. Rinse with boiled water and dry unassembled at room temperature. Before use, assemble the applicator by inserting the piston into the narrower part of the applicator tube.

Side effects
When used in recommended doses, no side effects were detected. In rare cases, allergic reactions may occur.

Contraindications
Vulvovaginal candidiasis.

Lactonorm can be used in combination with other drugs. The use of the drug is possible after the local administration of antibacterial drugs and / or antiseptics.

Pregnancy and lactation
The drug can be used during pregnancy and lactation. The use of an applicator during pregnancy is not recommended.
