Mechanism of action

Oksial is a moisturizing ophthalmic solution containing hyaluronic acid 0.15%. Hyaluronic acid contained in the preparation is obtained by fermentation, and not by isolation from animal raw materials. Its activity is optimized and prolonged due to the synergistic action of Protector ™, a polymer that forms a film.

The presence of electrolytes (chlorides, sodium, potassium, Calcium and magnesium) necessary to ensure cellular biochemical processes, and the slightly reduced isotonicity of the solution help maintain physiological conditions on the surface of the eye.

Indications and usage

- Relief of discomfort when wearing soft and hard contact lenses.
- Feeling of dryness, irritation and tiredness of the eyes, caused not by diseases, but caused by such external factors as prolonged exposure to video screens and monitors in air conditioning, dusting, pollution,smoke, and other environmental influences and stress.

Contraindications

Do not use the drug in case of hypersensitivity to any of the components of the drug.

Dosage and administration

Ensure that the tightness of the packaging is not compromised. Wash your hands thoroughly. To open the vial, it is necessary to unscrew the cap completely before removing the ring, indicating that the vial has not been opened before. Turn the bottle upside down and put one or two drops in each eye, or as recommended by a specialist. Close vial tightly after use.

Adverse reactions

Rare cases of mild eye irritation have been reported with the use of the drug.

Discontinue use of the drug if you experience pain, redness of the eyes, or decreased vision after instillation.
