Active ingredient

Retinalamin - a lyophilisate for preparing a solution for intramuscular and parabulbar injection:

1 fl. contains retinalamin (complex retinal polypeptide fractions) 5 mg,

glycine 17 mg; in vials of 5 mg; in a pack of cardboard 10 bottles.

Mechanism of action

Peptide bioregulator. Retinalamin has a stimulating effect on the photoreceptors and cellular elements of the retina, helps to improve the functional interaction of the pigment epithelium and the outer segments of the photoreceptors during dystrophic changes, and accelerates the restoration of the light sensitivity of the retina. Normalizes vascular permeability, activates reparative processes in diseases and injuries of the retina.

Indications and usage

compensated primary open-angle glaucoma;

diabetic retinopathy;

post-traumatic and post-inflammatory central dystrophy of the retina;

central and peripheral tapetoretinal abiotrophy.

Contraindications

Individual intolerance.

Pregnancy and Breastfeeding

Contraindicated in pregnancy.

Allergic reactions are possible in case of individual intolerance to the components of Retinalamin.

Parabulbarno or i / m once daily (the contents of the vial are dissolved in 1-2 ml of a 0.5% solution of Novocaine or water for injection, or an isotonic solution of sodium chloride) - 5-10 mg per day for 5-10 days (if necessary repeated course in 3-6 months)
