Composition and release form

Eskapel - tablets:

1 tab. contains levonorgestrel 1.5 mg, excipients: potato starch; silica colloidal anhydrous; Magnesium stearate; talc; corn starch; lactose monohydrate

in the blister 1 pc.; in a pack of cardboard 1 blister.

pharmachologic effect

Escapel has a contraceptive, progestin, anti-estrogenic effect.

Indications

Emergency (postcoital) contraception.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to any of the components of Escapel;

diseases of the liver or biliary tract;

jaundice (including in the anamnesis);

pregnancy;

puberty.

Side effects

Rarely - nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, fatigue, abdominal pain, headache, dizziness, breast tension, irregular menstruation.

Possible temporary delay of menstruation (usually not exceeding 5-7 days).

Dosage and administration

Eskapel accept inside. It is used in the first 96 hours after intercourse.

Storage conditions and shelf life

The drug should be stored out of reach of children at a temperature not exceeding 20 ° C. Shelf life - 2 years.
