
Sulfacyl sodium - eye drops:
1 ml of drops contains sulfacetamide 200 mg; in plastic bottles of 5 and 10 ml.
Sulfacyl sodium has an antimicrobial effect. It blocks the absorption of para-aminobenzoic acid (PABA), violates the synthesis of folic, dihydrofolic acids and other PABA-containing growth factors of microorganisms.
Conjunctivitis, blepharitis, purulent corneal ulcers, etc.
Hypersensitivity.
Local mucosal irritation.
Instillation in the conjunctival sac, adults - 1-2 drops 5-6 times a day; children - 10-20% solution of sodium sulfacyl. For the prevention of neonatal necrosis, 2 drops of the drug solution are instilled into each eye immediately after birth, and then 2 drops 2 hours after birth.
