Composition and release form

Ferretab Comp. - capsules of prolonged action:

1 caps contains (1 capsule contains 3 mini-tablets of iron fumarate and 1 mini-tablet of folic acid), iron fumarate 163.56 mg, folic acid 0.54 mg,

excipients: lactose monohydrate - 34.47 mg; colloidal silicon dioxide - 2.3 mg; Magnesium stearate - 2.3 mg; polyacrylate (30% dispersion) - 13.98 mg; MCC - 24.25 mg;

in the blister 10 pcs.; in box 3 blisters.

pharmachologic effect

Ferretab comp. has a replenishing iron deficiency, hematopoietic effect.

Indications

Treatment and prevention of iron deficiency states (pregnancy, impaired iron absorption in the gastrointestinal tract, prolonged bleeding, unbalanced and inadequate nutrition).

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to the components Ferretab comp.;

diseases associated with the accumulation of iron in the body (aplastic and hemolytic anemia, thalassemia, hemosiderosis, hemochromatosis);

violation of iron absorption (sideroachrestic anemia, lead anemia, pernicious anemia (vitamin B12 deficiency);

anemia not caused by iron or folic acid deficiency.

Use during pregnancy and lactation

Side effects

Usually well tolerated.In some cases, a temporary adverse effect on the digestive tract is possible - a feeling of filling and unpleasant sensations in the stomach, nausea, vomiting, allergic reactions, constipation.

Dosage and administration

Ferretab comp. take orally, on an empty stomach, drinking plenty of liquids, 1 capsule / day. With a marked lack of iron or folic acid, you need to increase the dose to 2-3 caps. / Day. Maintenance treatment should be continued for at least 4 weeks after reaching a normal level of hemoglobin to normalize serum ferritin, reflecting iron stores in the body.

Storage conditions and shelf life

Store in a cool and dark place, protected from light and moisture, at a temperature not higher than 25 ° C. Shelf life - 3 years.
