Composition

Boric acid, phenol, resorcinol, acetone, fuchsin, ethyl alcohol, distilled water.

Mechanism of action

Fucorcin has an antiseptic and antifungal effects.

Indications and usage

- Pustular skin diseases.
- Superficial wounds, abrasions, cracks, erosion.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to the drug.

Dosage and administration

Applied to the lesion 2-4 times / day. After drying, ointments and pastes can be applied to the treated area.

Do not apply the drug to large areas of skin, because phenol, which is part of the solution, easily penetrates the blood and can cause toxic effects (dizziness, weakness, respiratory disorders, collapse). The preparation includes acetone and ethyl alcohol. The drug has a peculiar smell.
