Kipferon suppository contains:
complex immunoglobulin preparation (CIP) - 60 mg, Interferon alpha-2 human recombinant 500 thousand IU;
Excipients: fat; paraffin; emulsifier;

Mechanism of action

Kipferon combines the anti-Chlamydia effect of specific antibodies contained in the TRC, and the antibacterial, antiviral, anti-inflammatory, and immunomodulating effects of the recombinant interferon alpha-2.

The CIP contains specific antibodies against herpes viruses, rotaviruses, chlamydia, staphylococci, an increased concentration of antibodies against enterobacteria, and other pathogenic microorganisms. It also has an immunomodulatory effect.
Recombinant a-2 interferon inhibits the intracellular stages of the development of viruses, chlamydia, rickettsiae, acts on bacteria, has immunocorrective and antitumor properties, stimulates antibacterial, antiviral and antiprotozoal immunity.

Indications
Urogenital chlamydia (treatment) in women (including those with manifestations of vaginal dysbacteriosis, vulvovaginitis, cervical cervicitis, cervical erosion) against the background of conventional antibiotic therapy.
Nonspecific inflammatory diseases, herpes, viral (retroviral) and bacterial (salmonellosis, dysentery, collie infection) intestinal infections in adults and children; frequent inflammatory diseases of the respiratory tract, recurrent bronchitis, pneumonia; dysbacteriosis of the vagina and intestines of various origin; viral hepatitis B, C and A in children; in preparation for planned gynecological and other operations (for the prevention of infectious complications.)

Dosage and administration

Suppositories Kipferon administered deeply intravaginally (before contact with the posterior vaginal fornix and the cervix) 1-2 candles, depending on the severity of the disease 2 times a day. The duration of treatment is an average of 10 days.
In the presence of cervical erosion, the drug is continued until its epithelialization. If necessary, the treatment can be repeated.

In children, Kipferon suppositories are used taking into account the content of recombinant alpha-2 interferon in a daily dose of 500,000 ME (1 suppos.), Vaginally or rectally, in one step, the course of treatment is 10 days. With girls with erased clinical forms of chlamydial vulvovaginitis and without clinical manifestations of inflammation of the uterus and its appendages, chlamydial infection of the urinary tract, respiratory chlamydia, treatment is carried out only against the background of vaginal and oral administration of eubiotics, in other cases, treatment of chlamydia in children is combined with suppositories. and eubiotics.
