Mechanism of action

Due to the unique properties of leech active substances that have an anticoagulant, thrombolytic, draining (due to microcirculation recovery) effect, GirudOWEN is indicated for dilated, painful veins of the legs, in conditions associated with circulatory disorders in the legs, i.e. for the prevention of varicose veins.

Indications and usage

Hirudoven is recommended for relieving fatigue, feeling of heaviness, swelling, tension, pain in the legs; with dilated painful veins of the legs; for the prevention of varicose veins; in conditions associated with circulatory disorders of the legs; when changing color, flabbiness and dry skin of the feet.

Contraindications

HirudoVEN is not recommended in case of hypersensitivity to gel components, during pregnancy, breastfeeding, and disorders of the blood coagulation system. Do not apply gel on open wounds, ulcers and mucous membranes.In case of contact with eyes, rinse thoroughly with water.

Adverse reactions

Sometimes it is possible reddening of the skin and slight itching, which themselves pass during the day. If these phenomena continue for more than a day, then the use of GirudoVEN gel should be stopped. Reuse is possible in a week.
